Doug Cox is Vice President, Development and Support, Lotus Software and WebSphere Portal, responsible for the strategy and development of IBM's Collaboration portfolio including the worldwide technical support team dedicated to software client satisfaction. The portfolio is designed to empower people to be more effective, responsive and innovative within the context of the work they do. Doug was previously Vice President, SOA Interaction Services. In this role, he led the development and delivery of WebSphere Portal, software that enables organizations to design their Web experience with personalized applications. Prior to this role, Doug led IBM World Wide Technical Support for Lotus - a global organization consisting of highly skilled technical consultants dedicated to customer satisfaction with the IBM collaboration portfolio. John is a Chicago-based consultant and rainmaker.
