Laurie Salmo has assisted companies with technology solutions to improve business processes since 1997. In 2003, she became the Senior Client Executive for Workgroup Connections, Inc, a Premier IBM Business Partner. Workgroup Connections has a long history of success with electronic messaging software solutions; email, instant messaging, custom workflow collaboration applications, etc. In the past three years, they have expanded their expertise into ediscovery of electronic documents. With government regulations and lawsuits requiring email and other electronic communications to be subject to legal discovery, Workgroup Connections became technologically experienced in helping their customers. In 2006, Laurie and a technical team at Workgroup Connections attended a week long residency program with IBM Software, where they helped design a solution designed to provide a cost-effective email archiving solution for companies with less than a 1000 employees. Laurie has worked with companies, from 150 employees to global companies with 10,000 employees, solving the need to reduce legal discovery fees by offering inexpensive technology solutions.
Laurie has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Computer Science from St. Louis University. She lives in Saint Paul, Missouri with her husband, Joe and her two teenage daughters; Katie and Gaby.
